Terms of service

1. The service

Wafflecast (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides an AI-powered platform that generates podcasts and email newsletters from sources you configure (“the Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. AI-generated content

All podcasts and newsletters are generated by artificial intelligence. This content:

  • May contain factual errors, omissions, or outdated information.
  • Does not constitute professional advice — financial, legal, medical, or otherwise.
  • Should not be relied upon as a substitute for independent research or professional consultation.
  • May not accurately represent the views or statements of any person or organisation mentioned.

You use AI-generated content entirely at your own risk. We disclaim all liability for decisions made in reliance on it.

3. Your sources & content

You are responsible for the sources you add. You must have the right to use and process any content from those sources. Do not add sources that contain illegal material or that you do not have permission to access and process.

You grant us a limited licence to fetch, process, and summarise content from your configured sources solely to provide the Service to you.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes third-party rights. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy.

5. Billing & subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly at $10 per podcast show or newsletter. Each new show or newsletter includes a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

6. Intellectual property

The AI-generated audio and text we produce for you is yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. We retain ownership of the platform, branding, and underlying systems. You may not resell or redistribute generated content as a standalone product.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wafflecast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
